Waratah HR was founded by Cheryl-Anne Salton, a Chartered Fellow HR professional with more than 20 years of international experience helping organisations navigate growth, change and the everyday realities of managing people. Her career spans the UK, Australia, Europe, North America and Asia, with experience across professional services, manufacturing, construction, healthcare and complex, highly unionised environments.

Throughout her career, Cheryl-Anne has worked at both strategic and operational levels, leading HR functions, advising executive teams and delivering practical solutions that make a measurable difference. Her experience includes organisational transformation, restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, TUPE, employee relations, workforce planning, leadership development, coaching, competency frameworks and the introduction of effective HR systems and processes.

From her experience, Cheryl-Anne has held responsibility for the complete HR function across multiple locations and subsidiary companies. She has developed people strategies that improved engagement, wellbeing and retention, supported business acquisitions from due diligence through to integration, introduced new HR systems and employee programs, and helped leaders manage people with greater clarity and confidence.
